A long-time Republican South Dakota political activist, since 1988 Pat Powers has been involved in campaigns ranging from school board races to Governor. Powers is the founder, primary writer & editor of South Dakota War College, a conservative South Dakota blog he founded in 2005, after reading a number of other South Dakota based political websites and thinking he could do better. Pat is married, and lives with his wife in Brookings where he is a small businessman, and raises his seven children ranging in age from kindergarten to college.
