Daniel Radcliffe Eyeing the Hunchback Role for ‘Frankenstein’ Adaptation

As we've previously reported, a new 'Frankenstein' movie adapted from Mary Shelley's classic novel is in the works from 20th Century Fox with Max Landis penning and Paul McGuigan directing. Hopefully one of the next steps will be gathering up some big names to fill in the lead roles, but we're sure that won't be a problem, especially considering that 'Harry Potter' star Daniel Radcliffe has reportedly expressed interest in portraying a lead part... but which one?

Is a Nicki Minaj Reality Show in the Works?

Bubbly rapper Nicki Minaj seems to be taking a note from Olympic swimmer Ryan Lochte in terms of capitalizing on success and riding the fame train till it runs off the track.

Although we've unofficially known for some time that Minaj would be taking on the role of 'American Idol' judge, the Fox hit reality series only recently made the news official. And now that she's achieved a firm spot in reality television, it doesn't look like she wants to give it up. In fact, she's spreading her wings further into the genre and might even get her own reality series on E!.

NBC Renews ‘The Voice’ for Fifth and Sixth Seasons

Although NBC's hit competitive reality talent show 'The Voice' didn't win any Emmys this year, losing the award for Outstanding Reality-Competition Show to CBS's 'Amazing Race,' at least it was nominated. And it doesn't mean the Adam Levine, Christina Aguilera, Cee Lo Green and Blake Shelton-coached series lacks a decent fan base. It doesn't, and the recent announcement from NBC that 'The Voice' is getting renewed for both a fifth and sixth season is proof of that.

‘Slumdog Millionaire’ Child Stars Are Still Living in Destitution Despite Box Office Success

'Slumdog Millionaire' was the main movie attraction of 2008, and it has eight Oscars, including the one for Best Picture, to prove it. Compared to the grand scheme of movie budgets, the film started off with generally low funding (estimated $15 million) and has since raked in more than $141 million world wide at the box office.

Aside from this success, 'Slumdog's' story of a Mumbai teen growing up in the slums to win the grand prize on 'Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?' was made all the more special for including castmembers Azhar Ismail and Rubina Ali -- both of who portrayed the lead characters' younger selves in the film and both of who were living in the real-life Mumbai slums. On the surface, it seemed like everything was finally going well for these kids once filming ended, but when the two flew back home after sharing in the Oscar celebrations, their lives were just as destitute as before.

Late-night show host Jimmy Kimmel hosted the 2012 Primetime Emmy Awards last night, and if you're wondering how he did... well, not great. There were a few semi-funny bits here and there, but for the most part, the presenters were more entertaining than he was.

But one part that was enjoyable to watch was Kimmel's opening skit, which featured all our favorite ladies of television (excluding anyone from 'Modern Family'). Now, thanks to the folks at 'Jimmy Kimmel Live,' you can watch the entire opening skit right here.

2012 Emmy Awards: Kevin Costner Wins Outstanding Miniseries Lead for ‘Hatfields & McCoys’

'Hatfields & McCoys,' The History Channel's three-part, six-hour mini-series dramatizing one of the most famous blood feuds in American history, may not have taken home the 2012 Emmy Award for Outstanding Miniseries or Movie, but it can boast having the best lead actor in that category.

Kevin Costner, who portrayed Anse "Devil" Hatfield, took home the Emmy for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Miniseries. And if you didn't see his performance... well, as he said during his acceptance speech, "Thank god for TV reruns."
