Rihanna's performance of 'Diamonds' this past Saturday has angered an internet subculture of "Seapunk" artists, whose style she (along with Azealia Banks, who is also catching some heat) essentially jacked.
Unfortunately for Rihanna, you can't really do anything that upsets anybody without somebody making a Tumblr (and in this instance a Facebook page) by which to mock you. That is exactly what's happened. But before we get to that, the video that sparked it all:

There have been a lot of awful or inspiring stories coming out of Hurricane Sandy. This manages to be both. A man found a note in his house scrawled by a person who had taken a blanket to keep hypothermia at bay. The author of the note was sure he was dying.
We hope when people asked Chris Brown what he was for Halloween, he answered, "I'm offensive." That is maybe the only thing that would make the terrorist outfit he donned with pals cool. Of course he probably didn't. Would we be upset if anybody else had done this for Halloween? It's hard to say, because we can't imagine anybody other than Chris Brown being this for Halloween.
