We know that 'Thor: The Dark World' has been filming, and is scheduled to hit theaters in a year (November 8, 2013 to be exact), but now Marvel has released their synopsis, which gives us a greater sense of what the film is, and how much (or little) 'The Avengers' plays into the sequel.

‘Skyfall’ Clip: “Take the Bloody Shot”
After today's underwhelming clip from 'Skyfall,' it's nice that they put out a clip with some action and excitement in it. It looks like the film opens with an insane train action set piece, and the end of it sees Daniel Craig's James Bond take a large, er, fall. Check out the clip.
Ben Affleck Could Return to Dennis Lehane With ‘Live By Night’
It's been almost a decade since 'Gigli' nearly destroyed Ben Affleck's career, but in the time since Affleck went from leading man (of less than leading movies), to auteur as the writer/director behind 'Gone Baby Gone,' 'The Town' and this weekend's 'Argo.' Universal is going forward with their 'Van Hesling' reboot, and currently have Roberto Orci and Alex Kurtzman attached as writers and producers, and Tom Cruise attached as the star (and producer... when you're successful, you get to produce your hits). Now it looks like Rupert Sanders' hat is in the ring for the directing gig (no word if he will also get to produce).
Beyonce Knowles Exits ‘A Star is Born,’ Project Likely Dead
When it was announced that Clint Eastwood might be directing Beyonce Knowles in the third remake of 'A Star is Born,' it seemed likely that the film was destined to win all the Oscars. Then word came that Leonardo DiCaprio might be the male lead. Money in the bank. Now Beyonce has left the project, there's currently no male lead attached and the project looks dead in the water.
Quentin Tarantino’s Blu-ray Box Set ‘Tarantino XX’ Gets a Trailer
Though fans might not be up for the double (and possible multiple) dipping that the Quentin Tarantino box set 'Tarantino XX: 8-Films' collection represents, it's no surprise that they were able to cut a trailer that makes you want to have a QT movie marathon a couple seconds after it finishes.
