Photobombing takes some serious skill. It’s all about the right timing and awkward positioning that makes for the ideal ruined picture. Most times, it takes years of practice to achieve this sort of obnoxious talent, like pro ‘Photobomb Girl’ or the world’s most awesome stingray. But did you know there’s a certain breed of people who seem to have this whole photobombing thing down pat with little to no effort required? Little kids.
Meteorologists have one of the coolest jobs around. Think about it-- they can totally get away with taking on weather 'Gangnam Style' and no one bats an eyelash over it. Al Roker can also do a weird mannequin impression mid-broadcast, and it's completely acceptable. (Although that was really, really strange...) That's why we're not surprised that one of actress Scarlett Johansson's dreams is to read the weather in classic Roker style.
Even though we're self-proclaimed addicts, Facebook can be super confusing. There's that whole copyrighting thing, for one. Turkeys can be voted for pardoning and a cat petition can get liked 120,000 times. It's a weird, weird world. Recently, one guy decided to take advantage of the social media site's strangeness by playing an awesome prank on fellow users.
Veteran's Day is one of the greatest American holiday, because we get to celebrate those who have and are still serving our country. It's one of the greatest sacrifices; these men and women are leaving their loved ones to risk their lives for us. For that, we give them a sincere thank you.
Even though the news that Disney and 'Star Wars' are joining forces is totally awesome, we do have to realize it'll take a little getting used to on both ends to ensure a smooth transition.
We're huge fans of campaigning season, because America always comes together to create political memes, poke fun at candidates and make boring debates a little more interesting. It's country bonding at its finest! We're a little bummed though, because that season has finally come to an end.
Ever since the whole 'Harry Potter' franchise came into existence, our lives have become infinitely better. For starters, our cats now have adorable costumes to wear and we've learned tons of awesome spells. But there's one thing 'Harry Potter' has given us that undoubtedly reigns supreme in our books: Quidditch.
There are tons of things we don't know, like why Evil Baby is so terrifying or how Honey Boo Boo landed a hit TV show. Sure, we could use the old Google Machine or Siri, but sometimes we like hearing answers from an actual person.
But did you know there's an even better, adorably entertaining way to get answers to life's toughest questions?
Covering Hurricane Sandy has proven to be quite a feat. It's difficult to keep up with all the information pouring into the newsrooms, but who gets to experience the brunt of it all? Reporters. Poor, poor reporters.
