It's the series during the summer that the fans love, but every team in the NFL tends to hate. HBO's Hard Knocks series, which takes a deep inside look at training camp for a NFL team, will team with the Atlanta Falcons this off-season. The team announced their participation earlier today.

The Falcons are coming off a disappointing 4-12 season in 2013. The series will be even more entertaining to watch locally with South Dakota's Tyler Starr being on the roster. We'll see if Starr makes a few appearances on the show as he battles for a position on the 53 man roster.

Teams have been hesitant to work the show, but according to the Atlanta Falcons they seem to have embraced the idea.

"We are excited about the opportunity to give our fans a behind the scenes look at what it takes to prepare an NFL team for the rigors of a 16-game regular season and beyond" - Arthur Blank

HBO Hard Knocks: Training Camp with the Atlanta Falcons will debut on August 5th.
