Ladies, at what age would you guess men decide to throw in the towel when it comes to their looks?

According to a new survey done in Britain, men give up trying to look good at the age of 46.

That's typically when trends are ignored and attempting to keep fit is seen as "too big a commitment."

It's also at that age when most men decide "relaxing in comfort" is the road they'd rather take.

Yes, the survey was taken in Britain, but health experts feel the same can be said about men in this country - most start to "not care what others think" by the time they reach their late 40's.

By comparison, the same survey also found that women try to keep up how they look much longer - until they reach the age of 59.

The survey of 2000 men was taken for a private healthcare firm.
