Update, 3/1: Ariana Grande will unveil "Dangerous Woman" single on March 11. Ryan Seacrest shared that he's already heard the "badass" track, and it "made him want to slither" (enjoy that visual).

The singer-actress will pull double duty as host and musical guest on SNL's March 12 episode, where josepvinaixa.com reports she'll also debut album track "Be Alright." Stay tuned for a preview of "a little something" from Ari later today.

Original post: Ariana Grande is a lot of things: Talented singer, actress, gifted musical impressionist, dog lover, doughnut shop rabble-rouser. One thing we've never thought her to be: Dangerous. But she shared what appears to be the name of her third studio album on Snapchat, and it seems we're about to meet...a Dangerous Woman.

So many questions: Dangerous how? Like, in a campy, rockets-shooting-from-your-boobs "Break Free" video way? In a genuinely menacing, Ariana-you're-skeering-me kind of way that's honestly tough to imagine? Or does it herald a new creative direction for Ari, in which she'll refuse to compromise her creative integrity and ideas, however wild they might get?

A tweet sent on February 22 suggests the latter.

Her follow-up to 2014's My Everything was tentatively titled Moonlight, but in January she told Jimmy Kimmel she'd had a change of heart.

"A really long time ago, I was convinced that it was gonna be called Moonlight because it’s one of my favorite songs that we did for the album,” she told the late-night host. “Now there’s this other song that’s sort of thrown me for a whirlwind and I love it so much and it’s just sort of changed everything."

Excited to learn more about this Dangerous Woman? Sad to see Moonlight go as the album's overarching theme? Let us know.
