It's that time of the year again; time for the annual "Boring Conference."  It's being held in London and is always held the last day of May.

The "Boring Conference" is a one-day celebration of the mundane, the ordinary, the obvious and the overlooked...subjects often considered trivial and pointless.

The event actually came to be in response to the cancellation of something called the "Interesting Conference."  According to organizers,

"It just seemed like the obvious thing to do."

This year's event features topics including; Pothole Gardening, Domestic Ink Jet Printers circa 1999, German Film titles, and Ice Cream Van Chimes

Perhaps not quite as boring as last year's topics which included; Toast, Self Service Checkouts, and Fridges.

Other topics that have been covered over the years include; The Sounds Made By Vending Machines, Ice, Sneezing, Bar Codes, and Yellow Lines...just to name a few.
