The oven is a tricky kitchen contraption for someone like myself who only uses it every once in a while. In between packing for vacation and pulling from the small multi-task part of my brain available to me, I fired up some cracked pepper garlic tots and left them in the oven to keep them warm for a meal.

It turned into a multi-tasking gone wrong or an oven oops. When I returned from vacation I decided to do the usual easy dinner plan and throw in a pizza, when I opened the stove door there waiting for me from the week before were the golden aged stone tots. This is just one way to pull off an Oven Oops.

Melissa used to store her large Tupperware bowls in the oven, until the pre-heating for a meal turned the Tupperware into a plastic cheese looking mess draped over the heating element.

My friend Tammy's family is forced to hide bags of chips in the oven from their cat that can't eat just one, and after her husband Steve baked (flamed) some already baked chips there now reads a sticky note on the oven: Don't preheat before checking!!

Just some Oven Oops stories to tide you over until the next time you fire yours up.
