After 64 Years The Starlite Drive-In Closes

After more than six decades The Starlite Drive-In in Mitchell has closed. The Associated Press reports that Jeff Logan, the drive-in’s owner since 1976, made the decision to close because of the film industry’s move to digital production that would require expensive new equipment at The Starlite and the drive-in doesn’t make enough money for that to happen.
