Adrian Peterson Says He Wants to Play in Texas

Adrian Peterson is signed on to playing for the Minnesota Vikings until 2017. However, he suggested on the SVP and Russillo show Thursday that he may want to play for a team in the Lonestar State.

Peterson told SVP and Russillo, "You know, I'd be a liar if I said something hasn't crossed my mind before. But I've also said to myself it would be amazing to to be one of those players if who stays with one team his entire career, it would be good if I could do that. But being from Texas, I've always wondered, wow, it would be cool to play in Dallas, to play back home. Or to play in Houston."

Last year's NFL MVP is from Palestine, Texas, and went to the University of Oklahoma in college. Earlier this year, Peterson rushed for 140 yards and a score at Dallas.
