Her spokesman won't confirm or deny, but reports are flying that Adele became a first-time mom on Friday, Oct. 19.

An insider close to the 24-year-old singer and boyfriend Simon Konecki told the Mirror that the couple had a boy and added, “Adele and Simon are ecstatic at their new arrival."

But when asked about the happy event, the notoriously private performer's mouthpiece would only say, “We are not releasing a statement at this time. No comment.”

The golden-throated and much-lauded vocalist confessed to being knocked-up back in June, writing on her website, “I’m delighted to announce that Simon and I are expecting our first child together. I wanted you to hear the news direct from me, obviously we’re over the moon and very excited but please respect our privacy at this precious time. Yours always, Adele xx.”

Fans were happy for her, of course, but even before the big announcement, they were disappointed that she didn't seem terribly anxious to get back into the studio to record a follow-up to her blockbuster '21' album.

“I am f***ing off for four or five years," she told Vogue earlier this year. "If I’m constantly working, my relationships fail. At least now I can have enough time to write a happy record and be in love.”

Happy record? Adele? It's like we don't even know her anymore.
