ABERDEEN, S.D. (AP) - Police are looking for help in finding a man who snatched a $30,000 gold and diamond bracelet from a jewelry store in an Aberdeen shopping mall and ran away.

The man allegedly asked a Riddle's Jewelry store clerk to show him a women's tennis bracelet, which features 14-karat yellow gold with bezel-set diamonds.

Police say the man grabbed the bracelet after the employee took it out of the supply case.

The incident happened Thursday afternoon.

Aberdeen Police Capt. David McNeil tells the American News that it's among the most expensive pieces of jewelry stolen in the city.
