State Prison Inmate Dies

Inmate Louis Cunningham, age 58, passed away at the South Dakota State Penitentiary in Sioux Falls.

Cunningham was serving a 10-year sentence out of Yankton County for sexual contact with a person incapable of consenting.

The Division of Criminal Investigating, as is standard procedure in the death of an inmate.  An autopsy is being conducted.
