A 3D Paul McCartney Doll? You Bet I Want One

One of the Beatles has gone high tech - I mean BIG TIME high tech!  Paul McCartney is now available in 3D.

The former Beatle recently had a full body scan done for a video game, so his people asked for the digital info and turned it into a file you can actually download and put into a 3D printer so you can create your very own little Paul doll.

The file is being offered for free on PaulMcCartney.com, and there's a cool time lapse video of a printing on his Facebook page.

A co-worker of mine said it was "creepy" that I wanted a Paul McCartney doll.  No it's not!  It's not like I'm gonna crawl around on the floor and have him play a concert with my 3D John Lennon, George Harrison and Ringo Starr dolls.  That's just weird!!!

Then again - that would be pretty cool.  Maybe I could have my 3D Michael Jackson doll be the warm up act.  Tickets go on sale Saturday!!!
