A 3-D Printed Car to Roll out This Year. Uses No Gas, Just a Battery.

Just how long do you think it will take before you use something that was made from a 3-D Printer?

Later this year you could be driving a 3-D printed car!

It was announced at this years Detroit Auto Show that car company Local Motors has designed and will manufacture the first 3-D printed vehicle called the Strati.  Unites will start production at two plants, one in Tennessee and the other just outside of Washington, DC.

If you think you need to hurry and be one of the first to buy one don't be in any hurry to get to where you want to go in the news Strati.  Think golf cart.  Top speed will only be 25 miles per hour.

How is it powered?  Just a battery.
