If you plan on attending the 75th El Riad Shrine Circus this weekend be prepared to see some acts you've never seen before.

Each year the circus always does a masterful job of entertaining spectators with a wide variety of elephants, tigers and acrobatic acts. Since this year is the 75th anniversary of the El Riad Shrine Circus in the Sioux Empire they have something special planned for all the loyal circus fans.

To help commemorate the monumental event, circus chairman, Reid Jensen says they'll be a few new acts appearing in the three rings in 2016.

According to Jensen, they have a new full high wire act as well as a trapeze act planned and two groups of circus goers even got to see the performance for free on Thursday.

"They owe their success to the loyal fans. To bring this amount of entertainment to those who normally would not be able to experience it, it's really what we live for," says Jensen.

The El Riad Shrine Circus will be performing through Sunday, April 24, 2016 at the Sioux Falls Arena with reserved and general admission seats available. Daycare children under the age of 12 get in for free, as well as a lot of nursery homes thanks to the local Sioux Falls businesses.
