6th Annual Ground Works Harvest Festival is Saturday, September 20 – See What Your Kids Have Been Growing!

Look what's been happening in our schools with kids who like to play in the dirt!

After being introduced to Sioux Falls six years ago Ground Works has grown to have teaching gardens in Sioux Falls, Dell Rapids, Lennox, Lower Brule and Rapid City.

And the movement is just getting started.

Saturday, September 20 from 10am - 3pm you can celebrate the kids fruits of their labor at the 6th Annual Harvest Festival in Sioux Falls at Lowell Elementary School.

This year there will be a Top Chef Challenge featuring local chefs competing against one another using items from five of the teaching gardens to create dishes that will be judged.

Families can enjoy the Zoo Mobile, photo booth, inflatables and live entertainment.
