6 Public Pools and Spray Park – Where to Cool Off in Sioux Falls
As summer creeps into the Sioux Empire, soon it'll be time to find a place to cool off. Sioux Falls has great public pools and a fun spray park.
Pools in Sioux Falls open June 2, 2017 (if the weather cooperates). Pools are open from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM and from 6:30 PM to 9:00 PM.
Prices are $4 for ages 2 to 17, $5 for adults, seniors 55+ are $4, and children under 2 are free. The Spray Park and the wading pools at Frank Olson, Kuehn and McKennan are free.

Pioneer Spray Park (map) has over 60 different spray nozzles shooting water including a water tunnel and cannons.
Drake Springs Family Aquatic Center (map) has a slide, 1M and 3M diving boards, a tube slide and a lazy river and a whole lot more.
Frank Olson Pool on the east side (map) is an eight lane fifty meter pool with two diving boards, snack and sun decks and a free waiting pool.
Kuehn Pool (map) in Kuehn Park features two diving boards, snack and sun decks and a free waiting pool.
South eastern Sioux Falls' Laurel Oak Family Aquatic (map) is described as a full-featured aquatics facility. It has short course lap lanes, a body slide, a large dinosaur and floating frogs to play on, slide and a sand play area.
Located near Covell lake, Terrace Park Family Aquatic Center (map) is another public full-featured aquatics facility. There's 2 drop slides, a body and tube slide, sand play area and more.
The McKennan Wading Pool (map) is the perfect spot on a hot day. It's a free wading pool in McKennan Park. There's a walking bridge and spray features.
