According to multiple reports, the Minnesota Vikings named 3M Co. its official "Science Partner" on Tuesday.

The financial terms of the deal were not revealed, but as part of the 10 year deal, there will be a huge 4,800 square foot banner with the 3M name and logo will be hung in the corner of the new Vikings Stadium.

In addition to the signage, 3M Co. will be the "preferred" supplier of first aid stations throughout the stadium.

The agreement doesn't stop there.  The Vikings and 3M will partner on community events, media content and much more.

In forming the partnership with 3M, Vikings owner and president Mark Wilf said in a statement: “3M is a company that is synonymous with science and innovation in the minds of millions of people around the world. We are thrilled to work with a Minnesota-based global innovator like 3M to enhance the game day experience for Vikings fans.”

The Vikings had already inked up numerous other corporate partners including Polaris, Ecolab, Hy Vee, CenturyLink, Miller/Coors and Land O Lakes.

3M Co. is a local corporation from the Twin Cities area.
