How would you like to get up close to the most majestic bird in the world?

The American bald eagle along with other raptors will be featured this week in Sioux Falls as part as Bald Eagle Awareness Week.

Governor Dennis Daugaard has proclaimed this Bald Eagle Awareness Week in South Dakota.

Many free events this week include the University of Minnesota's Raptor Center coming to the Outdoor Campus 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 25, 2016.  Several live birds of prey will be part of the exhibit which is free to attend.
