OK gang, take a look and see how many of the nominee's for the National Toy Hall of Fame you played with.

The National Toy Hall of Fame in Rochester, New York just announced the 12 nominees for this year's class.  And as usual, it's a weird mix of stuff that's really specific and too modern to be a classic - or so obvious and old-fashioned that it seems like it should be a CATEGORY. The nominees are:  American Girl dolls - Battleship- Super Soaker water guns - Jenga - Playmobil figures - Wiffle ball - Twister - and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. But also:  The spinning top - coloring books  - the scooter - and puppets.  No specific kind, just "puppets."  I mean, OBVIOUSLY, right? Two of those will get voted in by a panel of toy experts, inventors, and historians.  They'll be inducted on November 5th. Last year there were three inductees - green Army men, the Rubik's Cube, and bubbles.
