13-Year Old Cited in Weekend Crash. Motorcycle Driver Who Was Hit By Teen Has Passed Away.

Sunday night, 37-year old Jason Rollings of Sioux Falls was riding his motorcycle near Washington High School when he was hit by a car driven by a 13-year old.

Residents in the area responded and Rollings reportedly suffered a broken leg and other fractures but had been expected to recover.

Rollings suffered a stroke while in the hospital and passed away Tuesday. Our thoughts and prayers are with his wife, children and friends.

The accident happened near 6th and LaSalle in Sioux Falls.

There has been no report as to why the 13-year old was driving. The teen was cited for driving without a license, reckless driving and failure to yield.
